Christmas is a special time for almost everyone. Children love it for the gifts. Adults love it for the food and family gatherings.Family Sitting Around A Table And Christmas Gifts

But to converted Christians it is much more. The very word Christmas points to the very heart of the holiday. As someone said, “Jesus is the reason for the season.”

We are all aware how easily the focus on Jesus Christ can be swallowed up in the busyness and the buying.

Christmas stories can be a wonderful resource for getting us to pause and to remember what this time of year is really about.

This website is filled with Christmas stories from members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). Despite the misunderstanding on the part of some, LDS people are firm in their faith and love of Jesus Christ. He stands at the center of all we believe.

Whether read quietly alone or with family members these stories can invite the Savior into our hearts and homes. They can remind us of a priceless gift from a Divine Father. Isaiah said it beautifully:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

May these LDS Christmas stories invite the Savior into your Season.

May they remind us of Jesus Christ, the gift of the Father, and the importance of serving others as He and the Father so lovingly do.

Merry Christmas!
